Thanks to his leadership, a meal at Tanta Chicago can take diners on a culinary journey from the depths of the Pacific Ocean to the tops of the 22,000-foot peaks in the nearby Andes Mountains. Your meal might include a plate of spicy ceviche and a hearts of palm salad, followed by grilled octopus with chimichurri sauce and potatoes, or a serving of stir-fried lomo saltado with cilantro, rice, and soy-oyster sauce. Add a cocktail or glass of wine and regulars say you’ve got a meal that can’t be beat. Outdoor dining on the restaurant’s rooftop terrace begin at 4 pm each day, and reservations are required. Limited indoor dining is also available, starting at 5 pm.
