Go Ice Skating This Winter at Maggie Daley Park

The holiday season isn’t complete without a visit to the Maggie Daley Park ice skating ribbon! Unlike your everyday oval-shaped ice rink, the seasonal rink at Maggie Daley Park is shaped more like a road, allowing for more time on the ice: the ribbon is twice the length of a lap around a standard rink! Lace up your skates and follow the ribbon as it carves a sinuous path throughout the park. Along the way, you can stop to warm up over a mug of hot cocoa and enjoy the sight of the Chicago skyline in the distance.

The Maggie Daley Park ice skating ribbon is open daily, with special hours on holidays. You can bring your own skates, or rent a pair at the park for $13-$15. Locker rentals are available for $2.
