This artisanal producer makes some of the smoothest, richest gelato you’ll ever taste, along with the high-end flavor combinations that put chocolate and vanilla to shame. The difference with Black Dog Gelato is its high fat content and low amount of air whipped into the cream. The result is less cold and more rich flavor. The shop is also known for its inventive flavors, whether it’s the signature Oreo mint and vanilla sea salt caramel or seasonal selections like raspberry rose petal and chocolate coffee toffee. Black Dog Gelato also has dairy- and gluten-free sorbets, and they didn’t go the boring route with those combinations either (try the sunflower butter and caramel!).
